Scoreboards that display names can be customized as to how those names are displayed. From the Main Menu bar, click Run / Interfaces / Scoreboard / Customize and the screen below will display. If Colorado or Generic Serial is selected for the Scoreboard Interface, then the check box to Always display Combined Team Scores is available.
