Service Pack Release Notes
Procedure to Download and Install Service Packs •Start TEAM MANAGER 8.0 and click on Check for Updates at the top of the main screen. •Or, if a Firewall is preventing the Check for Updates process from completing, you can order a Product Replacement CD from the HY-TEK Online Store. Or, go to the HY-TEK Download Center, click on Update next to TEAM MANAGER 8.0, and SAVE the TEAM MANAGER 8.0 Service Pack update file to your hard drive (to c:\Hy-Sport for example). Then start TM 8.0 and click on File / Install Update and follow the prompts.
Urgent Critical Security Update Required: A critical security update to your HY-TEK application is required. To better secure our customers' data, we have updated our software to meet the latest Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards. Please accept the live update to install this critical security update before Aug 24th, 2018. Without this update, you will be unable to push meet results to Meet Mobile after September 4th, 2018.
Version 8.0Gb - September 12, 2024 •Long Course FINA points from WA since 01/01/2024 have been updated. •Previously, importing a roster file resulted in a ‘rpt file not found’ error message. This issue has been resolved in this release. •Previously, running the attendance report took a long time. This issue has been resolved in this release. •Previously, exporting a 10,000 km event results file and importing it into another TM resulted in it mistakenly being recognized as an 11km event. This issue has been resolved in this release. •Previously, TM incorrectly set swimmers up as record holders even though their times were slower than what the record was supposed to be. This issue has been resolved in this release. •Previously, clicking Records > Add/Edit Records > Available Records > Add a record > Find Record resulted in incorrect result. This issue has been resolved in this release.
Version 8.0Ga 27 November 2023 •Date filters in reports only allowed selection of dates before January 1, 2024. This issue has been fixed in this release. •FINA points have been updated. •After restoring backup files, the Reports > Performance Reports > Top Times report failed to include records (REC) and the Reports > Performance Reports > Record Match report failed to include new club records. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Version 8.0Fe 13 Sep 2022 •The USA-S ID format has been updated to comply with recent USA-S changes to allow a random 14-digit ID. You can now enter the ID manually. •Previously, Relay Records failed to be updated when clicking Reports > Performance Reports > Record Match and selecting the filters for the report. This issue has been resolved in this release. •Previously, printing workout reports took a longer time than before. This issue has been resolved in this release. •Previously, creating a report in Reports > Performance Reports > Record Match with mixed gender resulted in an error. This issue has been resolved in this release. •Previously, Eligibility Reports failed to display all swimmers when the Meet Course was set to LYS. Version 8.0Fd 24 Apr 2022 •To protect a swimmer’s privacy, coaches can now hide a swimmer's name and age in Team Connect Online by ticking the Mark as anonymous checkbox in Team Manager. •Previously, selecting 1 Meter/3 Meter/Platform from the Meet > Events > Distance filter resulted in an unknown error. This issue has been fixed in this release. •Previously, the Team Connect Online > Add/edit users > Allow Edit checkbox failed to be checked. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Version 8.0Fa 6 Jan 2021 •Previously, when TM8.0 was configured to display in Spanish, opening a file resulted in an invalid file error. This issue has been fixed in this release. •Previously, switching databases opened the Active.com account setup pop-up twice. This issue has been fixed in this release. •Previously, importing a BCSSA hy3 file resulted in an incorrect division. This issue has been fixed in this release. •Previously, in Meets > a meet > Results > Results By Name, entering a low-age filter value and then clicking the high-age filter field incorrectly moved the cursor to the finals time entry field. This issue has been fixed in this release. •Previously, adding a new team connect online account with a space in the account name and then logging in and clicking Get new copy of master - read only mode resulted in an Error posting your Download to the log file error. This issue has been fixed in this release. •Coaches can now import swimmers' information from a CSV file in Import > Athlete Rosters. •Previously, selecting Reports > Administrative Reports > Athlete > Contact/Mailing/Medical/Recruiting > Report Choice > Email List incorrectly changed the Mother's Surname in the report to the Father's Surname. Version 8.0Eh 5 Aug 2020 •Previously, TM8.0 failed to import custom field information into an existing database. This issue has been fixed in this release. •BCSSA IDs are now generated following the same format as USA-S IDs, except with 'BC' appended to the end of the BCCSA ID. •Previously, importing a Meet Manager meet events file with the course field set to LYS resulted in a blank course field in TM8.0. Version 8.0Ef 15 April 2019 •In File > License Management > Add License, Coaches can now add additional licenses from local storage or web delivery. •The Help > Tech Support > Telephone number has been updated. •Previously, exporting standards with a space character in the standard name resulted in a 'Flood percent' error. This issue has been resolved in this release by prohibiting standard names with space characters. •The abbreviation for the BCSSA Vancouver District has been updated from 'VD' to 'V&D'. •BCSSA IDs are now generated as: 6-digit birth date + 3 letters of first name + middle initial (or * character if none) + 4 letters of last name + BC. •Online help and user guide update: added a new File Menu > Import Menu > Import Meet Results > British Swimming paragraph regarding importing historic times from British Swimming.
Version 8.0Ee 6 December 2018 •The Export Registration now counts upgraded Flex membership registrations. The Reports > Administrative Reports > Registration > Report Options > Include Upgrades (selected by default) option allows Coaches to include upgraded Flex membership registrations (marked F in the Seas column) in the report. The Team Update feature also now supports Upgrades. •FINA LCM and SCM points have been updated to the current version. •Previously, for some databases, in a meet > Entry > Swimmer Entry Status, sorting swimmers by Gender, Age or DOB had no effect. This issue has been fixed in this release. •Previously, generating a USA Swimming registration report failed to display the swimmer's first name or last name on the application form version of the report. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Version 8.0Eb 5 July 2018 •Previously, in Meets > Entries > Swimmers by Entry Status, meets with more than 11 sessions displayed an Unknown Error; clicking Ignore displayed the first 11 sessions, but failed to display sessions 12 and above. This issue has been fixed in this release. •BCSSA age divisions have been updated to the May 1st, 2018 version. S8 division swimmers are now re-categorized in the O8 division. •In the Help menu, users may now open and view the Your Privacy Rights and Terms of Use documents.
Version 8.0Ea 8 June 2018 •Previously, in the Athlete Roster report, athlete Birthdates were truncated. In the Athlete Contact report, athlete Birthdates ran into the preceding Age column. These issues have been fixed in this release. •Swimming South Africa LCS codes have the following updates: 1) CPT-Western Province Aquatics has been changed to Cape Town Metro Aquatics; 2) A new WCA-Western Cape Aquatics code has been added.

This issue has been fixed in this release. •The TUSS.std standards file has been updated. •Previously, adding a new record with a millisecond-only Time/Score crashed the program. This issue has been fixed in this release. •Previously, when importing BCSSA meet results, BCSSA categories other than Swimming (such as Diving or Water Polo) were blanked. This issue has been fixed in this release. •Previously, when importing Meet Manager events files with the Exclude No Time (NT) Entries setting enforced, Team Manager imported this setting as not enforced.
