Run a Timed Final Meet

A Timed Final meet is one in which every event has just 1 round - that is, everyone entered in the Boys 11-12 50 FREE swims once and the athlete with the fastest time wins.

As you set up each event, click on the Timed Finals radio button under the "Rounds" heading.  Then when you seed that event, MM will assign the heats and lanes appropriately for Timed Finals seeding - that is the fastest athletes are assigned lanes in the middle of the pool next to one another and then subsequent entries fan out to the sides - the slowest being assigned lanes 1 and the other outside lane.
